What American cities would be at risk in an Atlantic tsunami?
The recent events have me seriously considering it. The cities I'm most concerned about are Washington, D.C. and Baltimore. Both of those cities are close to me, and considerably far inland, but they are connected to the ocean by the Chesapeake Bay and various rivers. If a tsunami event similar to the one in Japan were to happen off of the East Coast of the U.S. (I'm aware the chances are slim), would our nation's capital be safe? The scope of Japan's destruction really frightens me. a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3K1w7u04Zo&hd=1" rel="nofollow"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3K1w7u04…/a I pray for the people of Japan. The land of the Sun will rise again!
