I need advice on tuning a diesel engine?

I need tips and advice on souping up a 2.0 L Toyota 2c diesel engine, I was thinking , K&N filter, Ct 20 turbo, possibly opened up to 15 psi and opening up the diesel pump a bit,4 inch straight pipe and maybe adding an intercooler, what I want to know is if I can install an internal wastegate from a Volkswagen Tdi engine to the Toyota turbo .Thanks in advance
